It looks great, I like the way the cabin is buried all snug beneath the snow

Not really cabin photos, but here are a couple of pictures that I took from a weekend hike along the river that my cabin is on. I'm hoping the ice breaks up soon so that I can get my dock in the water.

My honey and I took off to the cabin the day after New Years for few days...the weather and hwy (#21) looked good when we checked before leaving but started turning within a few hours. We ended up being snowed in for a couple of extra days because the hwys were closed due to extreme wind / whiteout conditions and a 3.5 hour drive home Friday took 9 hours!
Gotta respect mother Nature!
Still can't get over the knuckleheads who were flying past us into the whiteouts...no cure for "stupid"...I'm happy to be the turtle that gets home alive. At one point we were killing time waiting in a mall parking lot and I took the dog out to play...my wife rolled down the window for a picture and you could not see me from 8 ft away...crazy.
