I have been off-grid for a bout 15 years starting in a camp trailer with an HF solar panel and an old car battery.

I now live in a solar cabin powered by a 470 watt solar and 125 watt wind system.

That powers my water pump, lights, two tvs, laptop, and misc. gadgets.

I use propane for furnace, stove, fridge, and OD water heater.

I would be happy to share my hard learned experience of designing a small solar electric system with anyone interested.
