hi all...i'm researching options for moving water (uphill, unfortunately) from my rain barrel set up. I'm leaning towards a rotary pump, and wonder if folks have recommendations for specific brands/models, what to look for in terms of inlets/outlets (hook up to standard garden hose seems helpful?), etc.
thanks!

Don't remember where I found this link but it includes an incredible amount of info about low-tech water movement and storage. I spent about 4 hours clicking around my first time!

Great link. Not only tons of info about water supply and systems, but click on the hygiene option for tons more about waste water systems and options.
