recently bought 2 burner propane drop in cooktop for my cabin. It comes with wall plug in....questions I have: do I need to plug in cooktop? is it for ignition? can I use cooktop without stove being plugged in, can I manually light stove with matches?

I would assume the plug is for the electronic ignition. Feel free to use a match, but I prefer a long lighter.
