So what manner of creature do you suspect would make these kinds of tracks. Notice those straight lines as well... almost like it was dragging a little sled lol
Our pond is split by the driveway and these tracks went from one side of the pond right across the driveway to the other. So at some point it went into the water. Beaver?

with nothing for size reference, muskrat or otter. Just can't tell how large or far apart they are.

I would guess that it an otter. The size difference between an otter and a muskrat is considerable. A muskrat tends to walk as compared to jumping. Definetly not a beaver old243
