No major projects under way so far this summer so it has been a nice summer so far to just enjoy the cabin. My wife and I have been going down about every week to ten days and staying a couple of days. We have a little garden there and have been getting zucchini, eggplant and a few peppers. Waiting for tomatoes to get ripe. We also have acorn squash which should be ready later this summer. We have had more trouble with things getting nipped in the garden than in the past. I think maybe it is rabbits because we have more rabbits around this year than I have ever seen at the farm. Not sure why it is such a good year for them but have talked to several people in the area that say the same thing. All in all it has been a nice summer.

It has been a while since I lasted posted. Not a lot new at the cabin. We did get our first little bit of snow this past week. It was unusually cold which I didn't like. I usually try to spray some locust tree sprouts this time of year but it was so cold I didn't think the spray would do any good and it is to expensive to be using if it does not work. I did have a nice turnip crop this year. The deer will love that.
