I am glad I found this site devoted to the enjoyment of small cabins.
Mine is 3 years old, owned the land for 20 years . Started 14 +16 ft with a deck & loft , added a 6+8 ft addition on the end for more room.
No electric or water but do have a small pond and spring on property.
My favorite place !

First thing I was gonna say was that hill looks like the finger lakes! I see you've got a telescope there too - nice!

See, that's the epitome of a cabin. Big enough to move about, but smaller than the multi-roomed edifices seen in 'Cabin' magazines.
However, yours (if not yet) should be in a magazine.
Absolutely love the all wood interior, the knotty pine, the wooden screen door, and the all wood rails.
Some of your work looks of scandinavian persuasion, any truth to that, or just good quality, patient work?

Again, outstanding!

It's gorgeous! Inside and out! I will keep this as my model to build up to one day for my desert cabin! Love the photos!

Love knotty pine tongue and groove bead board. Always really sets off a cabin.
