My wife just surprised me by buying a brand new Cabin/shed.
12x24 Barn top.
She had them install the bathroom and all plumbing and all the electrical with 200 amp service.
I wanted to build but she wanted this done asap.
The cabin is scheduled for delivery the week before Christmas.
They told her it would be 3-4 weeks to build and do the electrical and plumbing.
So today after she told me we took advantage of Home depot's black Friday sale.And got the laminate wood flooring in Brazilian Cherry for only .49 a sq foot.
Bought the insulation also.
Trying to decide on the walls.I am thinking of putting up osb and then paneling over that.Or possibly using smart siding on the interior walls.Either way I want to knock out as much as possible the week of Christmas.I want to use this cabin

The cabin will be delivered beginning of next week.
They sent over bathroom pics but that is it so far.
Getting excited the closet it gets

Ohhh I bet your getting antsy about the cabin being delivered just in time for Santa to visit you there... Be certain to leave a treat for him and a real nice healthy Hot Toddy for your lovely Missus (the stealthy Santa Helper )
Have you figured out what you'll be finishing the interior with yet ?
I hope you got Roxul Rockwool insulation for your place, so nice to work with and does a much better job than Fibreglass batts.

Bathroom looks great. All of the electrical and plumbing was
Put in place perfectly neatly.
I honestly have no complaints.
Going out in the morning to put up insulation.
Then Saturday and Sunday starting on wallboard.
Getting so excited I can't sleep

insulation,sheetrock and plumbing done.
Going back out tomorrowforpictures..Very long and tedius process.
My teenage kids areactually very little help.They aretoo busy with their own lives to contribute to the joy of working on it.
But I bet they will not be too busy to use it.
The wife and I did get to use it for the first time this weekend for valentines day..Had a great time.Made the kids use the camper..I said if your not working on it then no sense in comingin it.lol
Well when they saw what the wife and I got done with.They were to excited and then wanted to help..Let's see if they want to next week when we lay flooring.Lol
