We just returned from spending the Thanksgiving weekend at our 20 acres in Northern New York State. Our time was spent working on the interior of our 12x16 cabin. We were able to put down the new laminate flooring, install 90% of the moulding, and also installed the storage loft.

Our pictures can be seen here - White Birch Acres - Interior
The new photos are on pages 4 and 5.

Not sure of the brand of the flooring. It was on sale at Lowes when we bought it. Less than $0.89 per square foot.

The underlayment is for shock absorbtion and a modest increase in floor insulation. It allows the floor to "float".
