I found a desktop fan at K Mart this last week that runs on USB power that you can plug into your computer or it comes with a wall cell phone charger size USB port. The reason I bring this up is for people who are running solar power and are looking for low wattage devices that work well. This pulls 2.5 watts at the 5.5volts of USB and really puts out a good amount of air for a 4" fan. We ran it all night and it didn't affect our battery power any more than the cell phone chargers usually do. Very Pleased.

The one we bought is Kenmore brand, but this one from Amazon is the exact same thing.
