Jebediah Member	# Posted: 27 Jan 2018 08:57 Reply Technology is definitely helping in this matter....I have several cellular trail cameras(Spypoint) that will send an instant photo to my phone or if they move my camera it will send an alert and if they take it and try to use for personal use it will send gps coordinates. I have already caught 2 persons on my property, the police showed up watched them, but they didn't break in, They did open a shed door where one camera was mounted inside ,they didn't see the camera and the shed is empty, they were charged with trespassing and public mischief.

Chipolos have replaceable batteries - which Iâ€™m surprised some others donâ€™t. A regular changing of some batteries seems to make more sense and cost a LOT less than landfilling units, and then having to buy new units, and then set up new units, every year or so. The whole battery / battery-life situation though doesnâ€™t get covered in most reviews though. The Tile seems to get the most positive reviews. Per google, The Trackimo battery life is 48-96 hours. Or 20 days with that extender thing. Plus the $5 mo subscription cost after the first year. Another large ongoing cost.
