No, It was out there with me while I was building. I'm sure it got torn up and thrown out. It was super helpful if u needed to get a permit pulled and such. However, the construction of a log is just glue/nails and lots of lifting

I hear ya...I’m sure you’ve got many more important things to do... Look forward to seeing them when you get around to it.

When I finished it, I wasn't living here, now I live on the farm, so I might actually remember

So, I just stumbled upon your blog. I really like the looks of your cabin! Very impressive. I also would love to have plans or links to any information you gathered. My wife is bugging the he'll out of me to build a get away cabin in the back 40. I'm curious about a cost comparison in this type of construction vs actual logs. Thanx-Mayor

Wow great idea! How do you feel it’s holding up to any setteling? I love the aspect that a guy could essentially build most of it without needing a whole crew - as in, the “logs” aren’t weighing hundreds of pounds each! I’ve had my hand in the building of a few timber log cabins and homes and I can honestly say, this appears more structurally sound, better at holding heat and would seem to be much less upkeep in the long run. I’m planning on starting a build in the next year and will be milking my own lumber. Would you have any suggestions for building with “wet” (non kiln dried) lumber?

Thank goodness I’m better at building than proof reading! Don’t you just love autocorrect? Milling, Milking, guess my phone is a farmer too

This looks amazing! Couple questions I don't fully understand:
How are the corners supported? It looks like the middle board is cut down so the incoming board sits on top but I don't see how that is supported to keep from buckling.
Also, How are the walls supported to that when your "trusses" are on they don't push the walls outward?
I have never done cabin construction so I'm just wondering how that works.
