This is the original post and the following entries are the final pictures from the end of this chapter.
I want to thank everyone for your help in this forum while we struggled with the finer points of small cabin life and all of your suggestions and support.
We are down to planting grass now (of the legal variety regardless of the fact we live in BC

You got it made. The place looks great. It must be great to have a place in BC. I have been there several times snowmobiling at Revy. Even though it's 26 hrs from Duluth.

So many great projects here. I don't know which one I envy most. The Restroom or the Shower/Washroom. I think I want both before it's all over.

Thank you all so much for your thoughts. Don't worry, this is just base camp. The flat spot at the top of the lot is going to be our retirement home, so there is no chance I will be going anywhere away from this forum so that I can keep up to date on the greatest ideas on the net!
Funny, we planned on a 5 year break until we started the retirement place (as I have 12 years to 55 when we both retire) However, I have to admit to being a bit restless for the first time in half of a decade.....so we may have to start earlier. Or take up a different hobby Hattie, you sure said it right. This place is our families heart and we have all left our mark (kiddies included) on our "little house" which is the cabins name!

What a great looking place. I really liked how you did the shower, and I have been thinking of the Ecco unit as well. I assume you have been happy with it? Also, I see that after insulating, you covered the insulation with plastic before adding the interior finishing. Just curious as to why? And, what did you use to finish off the interior? T&G I assume? I am in western MT and have a 14x20 bunkhouse set up that is just a shell and not finished out on the inside. I always love to see how folks have done their projects.
