Funny question.

We have a pretty jumpy moose we call Skitty Moose. He is a very nervous guy. One big bull moose that we call Paddle Guy because his antlers start early and get huge. We have a beautiful little deer we call Suzy. Also a snowshoe hare we call Suicidal Bunny because he is oblivious to our dogs when he runs around. He won't last long as the dogs pretty much figured him out and were starting to look like they were going to team up to get him last time we were out.

I have several names for the mouse that chewed my carpentry belt to pieces, but if I tell you what they are I'll get kicked off the forum. The last name I had for him, her or it was 'dead' after it got into the fan in my truck and I turned on the AC. That was last summer and it still stinks.

Got a caribou that is getting to be a regular, the moose who would be moose steaks (but husband wasn't positive he was legal, and now the "neighbor" took him anyway when he definitely wasn't). We haven't named them or the grouse and hares, because we eat them if we can. Woot, turkey hunter.

We have a whitetail deer that is around the cabin that has a lot of black coloring in her tail and on her head. The kids call her "Black Betty", kind of guessing after one of the ringtones I had I my phone at the time when they first spotted her.

Most of the red squirrels well I call them dead meat. If they would stop trying to get into the cabin walls for shelter I would leave them alone.

Normally we have three or four does, two fawns, a hen turkey and five little ones roaming around the cabin at any given time.

Ever since I was little all the squirrels around our cabin have been called Benji. This stems from a single squirrel that my granny used to hand feed. She named him that, so my girls now call every squirrel by that name.

When I return to my camp site each summer, I find fox poop in the most conspicuous locations- right where my trailer sink dumps wash water onto the gravel, and right where I occasionally pee on the ground. The fox is marking where I've marked just to spite me.
