I'm seeing a mess of them on Craigslist new and old for as little as $500 and as much as $1100 in the Seattle area.

I agree with MTNDON. A couple extra bucks to a local guy goes a long way the next time you need something you cannot get on the internet.

Well my local Honda dealer will sell me a new eu2000i for $1165.00 plus 8%nys sales tax or I can just order one from mayberry for $899.00 delivered.Another thing I took my 3 year old Honda to them to fix it up.They said for $200.00 We'll go through it like a fine toothed comb.It will be like brand new for you.Just give us a week?Fair enough. One week goes by and I stop in to pick up my good as new genny,,,Oh,ummm, sorry we ain't got to it yet.Can you give us another week?OK another week.Soooo, anther week goes by and I stop in to pick up my like new genny,,,they set it up on the counter all torn apart in pieces and now the story changes, you need a few new parts so it will cost you 5 or 6 hundred bucks now.Oh and here is the bill of $90.00 for us tearing it all down for you....Can you believe it? so needless to say,I ain't taking nothing back to that rip off conn artist ever again.
