Just getting ready to leave for home (Mon - Fri home that is) and our dogs start barking on our new screen porch. Wife goes what the heck? Runs outside and here are these 3 Borregos (Bighorn Sheep) standing about 50 yards away. A once in a lifetime sighting for some (we've seen them a few times before) and here they were on our property checking us out....awwww it's amazing!

That's cool. Sort of a once in a looong time experience. For me it was a bear. Gun, camera, gun, camera. Camera won. Looking good .

Borrego, I see the same animals headed up to my place, north of East Wenatchee, as you go up the Columbia river gorge, they are on the rock hills to the west. I have seen them just standing in the middle of the rail road tracks before. They are sheep with the horns like those, but there is so many different types, I have no idea what they are.

Awesome pic.

We don't get much wildlife at our cabin, but occasionally we will get a visitor like a raccoon or the odd skunk.

One summer a couple years ago we had a Redtail Hawk (I think) decide to hang out all summer with us. He would pop in from time to time and hang out for a few hours. I managed to get a good pic of him one time.

I'd love to see some Bighorn in the wild some day.

Nice, last week on the road near my cabin, a golden eagle flew up next to me. It was lifting a road killed raccoon.

I see deer, moose, elk, coyotes but never see the bear that climbs the tree stump up to the bird feeder and knocks it off to feast on the seeds!
