Thought I would post my project here. I hope to have it done within a year. The pic of the land before I cleared, the view, changing out the well pump, and another view pic.

I did cheat but I knew with the amount of time I would have to work on it, it would be weeks to months before it was weather tight. This way I can finish out the interior at my leisure with out the risk of weather damaging my work. But I will still have my work cut out for me. I still need to trench the water, electric, and septic 500’ to the cabin, create 800’ of driveway on top of the finish work in the cabin. I have to say those Amish builders are top notch, that cabin which was technically sold as a shed is built like brick shithouse. They framed it with 2x6, double top plate, 16” on center studs, not your typical prefab shed

Thought I would post some updates. Did some work in late winter and early spring but most work ground to a halt once my work season started. Got the interior partitions framed, wired, lights, heat, and insulated.

This month the guy started on the driveway, he is using it as fill in work between other jobs. It’s taking longer but the cost is good. Had my brother come up to help trench for water, electric, and septic.
