For the last 2 weeks it has been a roller coaster ride. We took our Abby (Jack Russel) to the hospital and found out she had kidney failure, from that point she was started on IV for 3 days. We brought her home with high hopes as she seemed to have improved, decrease in drinking water to a normal amount and a improvement in her spirit. Four days had passed and she was again not feeling well, took her to the hospital and found out she had a form of lymes, which was treatable with antibiotics. We again seen a improvement in her condition for a day. She then began not feeling well again, but then she pulled back out of it and seemed like she was on the road to recovery. Only to get even worse within hours, to the point that when my wife came home for lunch I was on the a phone call with our vet listing to him tell us that her second blood test had showed her numbers had increased greatly and she had little time with us, 1-3 days at best. We then had to decide what was best for Abby. We called our parents (Grandma’s and Grandpa) they were all able to come over and say their goodbyes.
She now resides with God in his Holy Hands.
God Bless our beloved Abby!
May she enjoy her cabin time always.

I’m sorry for the loss of your dear pup.
I can tell from the photos you posted she had a wonderful life most dogs dream of. The cabin life.
She will be watching over you and waiting to greet you at Heavens Gate.

Oh, I do feel your pain and your story brings tears to my eyes. As others said to me, that dog had a full life, no shortage of anything, always a bowl full or water and food in her dish. lots of love and comfort and that is the way a dogs life is always supposed to be. As one member also said to me, "thank you for being such a good master" Abby had a full wonderful life with you at home and at the cabin.

We all know all dogs go to heaven. Abby will be there to greet you when the time comes.

God Bless all you for your thoughts and prayers!
I never imagined my heart would feel so broken.
My wife and I are fine then all of the sudden something jogs a memory of Abby and we fall apart.
Abby has a brother (not related) Willie, he is having a difficult time,to the point that we will not be leaving him by himself. My mother and father offered to watch him while we are working, which is awesome. This will keep his mind and body busy and hopefully ease his broken heart as well.
There is special something about dog people!

My condolences. I know how hard it is to lose a furry friend.

My condolences, the loss of a pet is always gut-wrenching. I'm glad your Abby was able to experience life at a cabin, and that you have all those memories of her to hold dear. I wish Abby's brother the best; love, attention, time, and treats are about all that can help, they love strongly too.
