I don't promote stuff often but this is a battery that has some use for folks.

12vx100a is 1200w for 600. That's a pretty fair price. Don't know anything about these guys other than that tho.

If you live in the US yes, but if you're in Canada, its $835 with our crappy dollar, plus unknown possible customs costs...sigh

A word of caution on this Lithium battery system, it has no BMS (battery management system). If you are not familiar with Lithium systems and how they work with a BMS, then stick with the other another battery chemistry (Lead Acid, Nickel, etc). Lithium batteries must have a BMS to regulate charge and discharge or they become unstable and dangerous.

If you want a Lithium battery system, then purchase a system with the battery management built in.

This one from the same vendor with BMS for $699 USD and ships to Canada where the other one shown does not ship to Canada.

Alot of the chinese made lithium batterys dont actualy output what there rated to. I would be cautious of the chinese brand batterys.

My amazon is showing another 12v100ah for $499 just under this one. If you could get free returns and can test it really well within the return window might be worth a shot. How ever old electric vehicle batterys would be roughly $350 for the same 12v100ah.

IMO, if you stick to Chinese main brands of prismatic cells, such as GBS, Winston, CALB, and sold by a US vendor with a good reputation as well as having been in business for a few years at least you will get good cells/batteries. There are a couple of other names that had a good record, but I don't remember them off hand. There seem to be many assembled LFP batteries being sold and what I don't like about them is you can not see what is inside. No way to know the brand of cells.

Several friends and myself bought a pallet of GBS from a Chinese company. That is probably not recommended for everyone but our little group had electrical engineers who work for a major Int'l firm, deal with Chinese all the time, as well as a daughter of one who is a customs broker. Prices were very good and I feel lucky to have been able to take advantage of the buy.

I also have some smaller capacity CALB branded cells which perform very well. There seem to be about as many unbranded or unknown brand names of LFP cells on ebay as there are people in China. I am sure some are good. Some are bad.

I meant to add to the above--- if you go the route of chosing prismatic cells like the GBS you also have to buy a BMS to add to the assembled cells. The electric car parts companies do sell those as well. Or you can choose to not use a BMS and become the BMS yourself. To my mind though that is not ideal as you replace cell watering of lead-acid cells with cell voltage monitoring and part of the allure of lithium is the simpler maintenance. Although it does seem that with good cells they tend to not wander much, if any. (we need a scratch ur head emoji)
