Is that galvanized single wall pipe in the chimney? Bad fumes come from that and you shouldnt have two 90* bends in that pipe like it is. Bad chimney design can be real dangerous much less the fire factor. Can a fire truck find and get to your location?

It's a propane stove and code is for a propane stove is galvanized because of the moisture...

Some before pics...Took the ceiling out and put knotty pine in, ditched the doors on the Home depot cabinets, painted the carcass and made knotty hickory doors. I liked the look so I made top cabinets to match, havnt made those doors yet.

Amazing improvement. Removing that dropped ceiling must have been quite a job! How did you end up insulating the cathedral ceiling after? Really gorgeous. And salvaging those Home Depot cabinets--the red paint is perfect and the new doors are a delight. You should be very proud.
