Does anyone have build plans they are willing to share? My codes officer is looking for something a bit more official than my sketches. Looking to build a 16x20 cabin with loft and maybe porch added to dimensions. I used to stick build homes, my ideas are mainly in my head and will adjust as I build but I would like to get codes something to look at. Thanks

What do they require? I have seen plans approved on graph paper along with a material list broken down by wall, floor and roof. Also in NY.

I guess more than a rough sketch. I am also looking for floor plan ideas and any neat features folks on here have made.

Do a cross section, they want to see joist sizes I bet, rafter sizes etc. If you plan on heating it, they will want the min insulation etc. But you can build with "no heating" to simplify it.
