I have a crazy idea to get 5 prefab 10x12s from an Amish builder (Yoder’s Dutch Barns), and make a small family campground for us. Only one cabin is going to be outfit with all the appliances and full size tub and toilet etc. The rest will be simple bedroom cabins with just basic electric.
Does anyone know if any of the counties south of Nashville have rules against multiple cabins less than 20x20?

Call them dried in storage/shelters, no limit and many places, under 200 sq feet, no permananet foundation, no permit. Build as many as you like. But they can still be assessed for taxes.
I have a similar situation, just not multiple cabins, but campsites, one cabin is my ranger station. I have it set up like a national park campground. USFS and state parks is out theme.

Check with the county in question because an electric permit may also require a septic permit but this may not apply to outbuildings. Also counties may have their own regulations for campgrounds which may be classified as mobile home parks. It would be better to know up front than to get an expensive surprise later.
