What is best spray tip for stain 6x8 logs - 3/15 or 5/15 ?
Does it matter ?

I used the 315 on mine, came with it, worked great and I used it for logs too.

315 will give you a 6" fan width 12" from the surface.
515 will give you a 10" fan width 12" from the surface.

515 will give you a little better coverage making it easier to get the material on evenly. Both tips allow the same amount of material, the 515 just puts that material on a little wider. You'll be less likely to create runs with the wider tip.
