I bought 20 acres of mountaintop property in the Arkansas Ozarks in the summer of 2021. To date I have cleared about 3 acres at the top of the property and placed an outhouse and storage building (I call it the quartermaster building). I am in the process of standing the frame for a 12'x16' bunkhouse. I have added progress photos. I hope to have the bunkhouse frame up in a month and habitable by summer. Hope you enjoy.

I did, the foundation for the bunkhouse was the most physically challenging thing I have done in the last few years

I know what you are saying. We recently happened upon 8 tons of free flagstone. We loaded and unloaded the pieces by hand. It was a chore. I'm planning to use it for a walk way. Most pieces were 2 inches thick and some were 4-5 ft long. It's hard work.
Great job with your project. It looks very remote.

In my youth I built some of those balsa wood covered in tissue paper airplanes. It was such a shame to cover the framing.......
