welcome to the forum-----i am using T & G ---log siding on my camp. In NY...you might go to a local sawmill and get Adirondack type siding....i really like the look of it

I love BML. The ADK Museum is a treasure and the lake is a gateway to miles of great paddeling.

Welcome to the forum. Fun place to hang out and talk shop..
At one time we looked into a 16x16 cabin, and I got a quote from the local saw mill for rough cut adirondack siding.
He quoted me $400 bucks. I thought that was a pretty good price.
That was for local Hemlock, in NYS..

bobrok here (the same one from the BML club). I'm happy to see you've found this forum, as I did some time ago. It's a great place and the folks are super friendly and helpful.
Your build is looking great! We haven't even been up there much this summer because of family stuff, but I will stop by to visit on our next trip...whenever that happens.
Hopefully soon...

Board and batten...quick fast, can use just about any tree.
Live edge clapboard, love the look.
A local mill could cut either of these pretty quick. In either case, the siding can be nailed up green.
