I got a line on a Jotul 602 and I think I can pick it up for around 150 or so very lightly used. My cabin is 240sqft and there are not a lot of small stoves on the market. It looks like a nice little stove.

Be sure it has its cast iron heat shields and upper baffle and check for cracks in the sides, a great stove if cared for, scrap iron if not!

My wife and I have a Jotul in our cabin. It does a good job but, I can't keep it going all night. I have to wake up every 4 hours or so and load it back up.

I have a 602 and love it. You do have to get used to it. THe fire box is small but I now cut my wood to 15" and it works. It is true that is will not go over night but i can get a 6hr burn if loaded up and shut up tight. My acamp is 14 x 16 with a very high loft and it works great.

Thanks I ended up buying it for 100.00 not sure how much of a savings that is but I think it was a good deal. Its hardly used. My cabin is tiny so It should hold the temp well it heats 800sqft and I only have 240.thanks to all who replied. Its tough to find a small stove that keeps a small footprint.

I have a 602. It was expensive -- a lot more than $100 -- but works well (a little too well) In my 397 square foot, one story cabin it heats up very quickly and if the outside temperature is not 20 degrees or below, I soon have to open windows. I keep a thermometer on the stove to make sure it is not getting too hot to be safe.
I like the cook plate, although I haven't cooked anything on it yet. I thought it might be useful in a power outage.
It does require small pieces of wood.
Sounds like you got a good deal.

Thanks I bought on a Sunday and he was moving didnt want to take it with him. I kind of have a craigslist cabin.
