I have 200 ac family land from 1914. 80 acres are my sister's and 120 mine. It's not good farm land and never did well. Vacated in early 1950's, pasture then planted in evergreens in 1960, it is now heavily forested. Most trees are just short of 100' tall. 220,000 were planted, thinned and now maybe a 100,000 left. It's part of 500 acres high ground in the middle of a big 68 sq. mile, MN spruce swamp with now adjoining private land. It's halfway between the Twin Cities and Duluth.

sounds quite close to my land Owen. I'm in Pine County east of the freeway a bit...some spruce and lots of tamarack near by.

Your prob. close I'm west of Sturgeon Lake by 15 miles, just into Aitkin Co.
I'm building small cabins in Nickerson for customers. That's even closer.
