could u put salal berries in pancake batter?

Blueberry pancake recipe ingredients
1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 egg
1 cup milk (you can add more if necessary, up to 1/4 cup more)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon artificial sweetener (you can also use brown sugar, honey or no sugar at all)
1/2 cup blueberries (or ripe bananas, or blackberries, or strawberries, or cherries, or...)

Serves 4.

1. Sift together flour and baking powder.

2. Beat the egg, milk, salt and artificial sweetener together in a bowl.

3. Mix in flour/baking powder until everything is moistened. If the batter to thick add some more milk. The right pancake batter is thin enough to pour it but not runny.

4. Use a pan, a griddle, a skillet for making your pancakes. If it's not non-stick - spray it with cooking spray. Use medium heat and wait for your pan to heat up.

5. For one pancake pour about 1/4 cup of the batter into the pan.

6. Turn the pancake around when you see bubbles on top (1 1/2 minutes). The continue cooking until it turns golden brown.

i think this too Sustainusfarm.i just made homemade blueberry pancakes the other nite.now the mister does not want his pancakes defiled with anything extra.
the almost teenager grandsons eyes lit up when i asked him if he wanted blueberry pancakes.
then i made him one.i was a bit easy on the blueberries cause he is picky.well sure enough.he says this is disgusting.ha ha ha.
his version of blueberries is the little fake blueberry bits in jiffy mix.this is what he is thinking is blueberries.i laughed.
i loaded mine up with tons of blueberries.hello! talk about wonderful.just needed one.sooo sooo good.now i picked enough to make syrup and blueberry muffins and blueberry pancakes.since i was the only one who loved blueberries in them.i gave everyone a bowl of fresh blueberries.cant beat fresh.
tomorrow i pick more.maybe i will have enough for a pie.

You can never have too many blueberries in pancakes. Hubby loves apples in his pancakes (transparent apples are best because they are tart and soft).
Right now we are just beginning strawberry season. Just had a big bowl of fresh berries from the backyard for dessert. YUM! I love fresh fruit of all kinds. Hopefully I'll be making strawberry jam before long. I've got all my supplies ready - just waiting for the berries to ripen. *S*

OK
I like blue berries on pancakes.
But I'm kind of a purist (in my tiny mind).
If I have blueberry pancakes, then I can't have peanut butter or strawberry jam....my favorite accompaniments.
Large thin pancake, burnt, margarine (Imperial), peanut butter (Adam's crunchy) and homemade syrup...cold syrup

Or

Large thin pancake, burnt, margarine (Imperial), strawberry jam, fold it over, and homemade syrup...hot syrup.

Then buzz around doing chores in half the normal time, zipping thru the lawn and garden, and 20 minutes later, crash and burn.
But, yeah, you can't have too many pancakes....wait....blue berries

I prefer to think of the batter as the glue that holds the bluberry patty together.
