Generally at the cabin work feels more like play but there still is that one job that I really don't like doing.
I hate cleaning dirty dishes! We use mostly paper plates/foil pans but the few dishes that do need washing I find it easier to just bring them home, throw them in the dishwasher and take them back with me. Is this LAZY or what? 
What job do you dread the most while at the cabin?

Daily house cleaning.. im better at making messes.
We also burn most of our trash, cleaning the burn barrel when needed is no fun.

Washing floors - hate it!! Vacuum first, lift all the area rugs, mop the floors, replace all the area rugs. YUK!!

Hattie do you have a steam mop? I highly recommend one if you don't. It is so much easier than a mop and bucket!

In addition to the outhouse we have an indoor port-potty in the bathroom for nighttime use.
I will say unequivocally that emptying and cleaning the beast is my least favorite thing to do....period.

I hate sweating at camp! I'm always working on a project, whether large or small and I tend to operate at a higher temperature than normal to begin with...I can't stand being drenched while working. Thank G_d I started the "Shed Mahal" project near the fall of last year because most of the heaviest labor was done straight through the winter when it was naturally air conditioned!
I don't care for setting up and taking down, with taking down prior to leaving being the worst...I hate leaving! My family has been good with helping, but it is still a chore I could do with out.

No, we have laminate floors so steam mops wouldn't be the best for that. I have my own setup. I bought a plant sprayer (the kind you pump up and it becomes pressurized). I fill it with a mixture of vinegar and hot water to clean the floors. I just spray it on an area and then mop. For a mop, I purchased one that you can fasten an old towel on. After the floors are done, you just throw it in the washing machine and reuse it. Cheaper than swiffer floor cleaners and do a much better job. *S*
I think what I hate the most is moving the rugs and underpads and then replacing them when the floors are dry. Such a pain in the back. *S*

same here. I always clean up upon leaving so when i arrive everything is pristine. Consequently it's a big pile of work. And doing it while I'm depressed about leaving, not looking fwd to the drive doesn't help.

Argghh...totally!
I refuse to leave the cabin a mess and cleaning up sometimes requires a good hour or more depending on what we have worked on. When I come back I want to be greeted by my happy little cabin, not the left over messes from the last visit!!!
I see I am not the only one who gets depressed when it is time to leave...sometimes I feel like I can barely pry my hand off the door knob and walk away.

Cleaning up before heading back. Just did it today. It is a lot more stressfull and frustrating than it sounds. We have two little ones so it adds to the dynamic! Everyone's tired. No body wants to leave or clean!

can't say i have a least favorate task, but if i had to pick it would be doing laundry. i hand wash with rain water and its often very unpleasant with the lack of circulation and problems with my hands and wrists (carple tunnel problems and too many frost injuries), but its gotta get done.

I'd say dumping the bucket out in the compost heap.Not to pleasant of a job but my options are to ignore it till it starts to stink or just do it and get it over with.!Second worst is cleaning the barn out.Them horses sure can make a lot of poop in no time.I joke that I'm searching for a way to turn them brown nuggets into gold nuggets.But I haven't figured out a way yet!lol.

rayyy, horse manuer can be sold, its very high in nitrogen that gardeners love it as an organic way to enrich soil
around here horse manure sells as much as $200 a pickup truck full
thinking of trucks you could build a biodiesel reactor, add manuer, yeasts, and water and turn it into stuff that works in a diesel engine. a couple local farmers run their trucks on the extra manuer, with the price of gas going up...

The big one for us is clearing our hiking/snowshoeing trail network and mowing the yard and driveway. Takes about three hard days work to do but the rewards are worth it and the animals like the clear trails too.
