here is a picture it is cute.we keep saying we are not going out to the cabin for a couple of weeks and then the next thing i know...we are headed back.we are now finishing up some trim work at the back french doors and some other things.Then the inside.hugs cabingal3

Nice going cabingirl! No worries about snow on that roof. I like the color stain you guys chose! Have fun finishing off the inside!

hey guys.i have been hiberating in town.waiting to go to our woods.
we are building a bigger house in the woods come spring.so this is why i have not been on.more updates as we go.

well.no updates .we are waiting for snow to stop so we can head up to our cabin in the woods.in the meantime we are fixing up the place we are in right now.
we did build a workshop for hubby and we think this will be our next cabin for our woods.then we will have a guest cabin for the kids and a cabin home for us.
it is the lean too cabin and then another one connected.so we may be doing this next summer.not this summer.

we have been working out at the place.There was a what the locals call a mild winter.We went out there to burn alot of piles of brush and snow was so deep we could not drive our jeep into where our cabin was.So we got on shoeshoes and hauled everything in.well...hubby did.i hauled a plastic bag with my jammies,coffee cup and coffee can and t.p.
I did shovel a path to the cabin.
that was so cold.That is over now and me and the big guy just got back from the cabin.We built a outhouse(still needs to be painted and a door will help)and we needed a table so badly.So we built these things this last weekend.so little steps at a time and we will get it ready for retirement.cabingal3
