After reading his post regarding the topic on "Reconditioning Or Desulfating Batteries" I have officially decided that in the event of a zombie apocalypse I want MtnDon on my team. I swear that guy must have read more books than contained in the Library Of Congress.

Yeah there is more than one person one here, you are right. I just had to say it after reading Don's lesson about the batteries and thinking of all of the other great info I've seen him post on here.
These kind of smart, make things happen, get things done people that you find on this site are just the kind that we need to get this country moving in the right direction. Whether it is through a zombie apocalypse or the real tough times that we face ahead.

I've asked his assistance on more than one occasion and he never fails to impress with his accurate knowledge. The board is fortunate to have him (and a few others).

Well gosh. 
I have a friend in the solar design, installation and maintenance business and listen to him a lot. I also have a thousand dollars worth of batteries (at "club" prices) and I'm interested in preserving their life as long as possible; big incentive to learn.

love the walking dead!!
have to say that hubby and I have both said, in a zombie apocalypse, we are so heading to the cabin. Ok at that point I will not have an issue with guns etc. at the cabin!!
given that we are water access and few people ever in, plus the huge abundance of meat and veggies, we could hold out for a bit and I agree, I would love many people on this site to join us!!
