Do you have a recommendation on someone to design your system?

I have all the numbers on location, average hours of sun, needed amp hours each day and bat bank size I want for backup.

I am hoping I can call someone up with this information and they can design a system for me with materials and pricing.

So far I have had SolarRay and Backwoods Solar recommended.

Any others that can share their experience?

Much appreciated.

First thing I would do is get a Kill A Watt meter and see how much you are using and then see how much you really need.
When you get a number then double it and you will be pretty safe, better to make too much power than not enough.
Your location is super critical, how much full light are you going to realistically be exposed to year round, especially in winter.
Do a lot of homework and ask a lot of questions.

Build it yourself. As mentioned above, start reading Northern Arizona Wind & Sun (NAWS) but I would ultimately build it yourself. I have talked on the phone extensively with some solar resellers and they all have their own opinions about how to build a solar setup. If you can find one that you can relate to, then work with them, but I preferred to build my own. Opinions are like...err...

I can't reccomend anyone, i suggest you do your research and build it yourself, it will be cheaper and you can do maintenence and repairs yourself (might not be easy to get a tech out to help you later).

if you can afford it i reccomend buying everything at once and building it yourself

You might want to Cheack this Article out first.

I found this great article explaining about a new manufacturing process hopefully in the near future; of the Solar Panels involving capturing certain shades of light which are much better able to harness energy from.

Apparently these certain shades of light particles make it easier to capture energy than other colours of light.

Also I myself am going the Micro Hydro-Electric route as I just can't seem to pour money into Solar when it is at best only 20% Efficient. If you can wait a bit maybe this New Tech will become a reality, otherwise excuse my post, just a thought.

I purchased my entire setup from wholesale solar. I designed it myself and they will price match any other offer you find online. They are helpful in answering questions and do not try and sell you.
