Hey all,
I want to put a game camera in my land. I want to put it high up on a tree but don't want to climb for it each time to check it out.
Ideally, if I could have some kind of usb receiver on it that will possible to connect to through wireless means (bluetooth?) that would be perfect but I'm not sure something like that exists.
Any one try to tackle this issue?

Not me, but see if these guys mention anything like it.
There are ones that include cell phone tech to call and deliver images by cell phone. Never used one.

The above article is a year old, but it tells you what brands have the capability to send pics to your cell phone. The Buckeye cameras seem to have the best technology if running multiple cameras.

Thanks for the link.
I didn't mean for the photos to be sent to my phone at home (expensive or tricky DIY) but to just allow me to retrieve the photos form the camera without climbing up the tree.

Keep in mind that you will also need to change batteries.

Watch for an old junky ladder. Lay it out in the woods like junk, away from your camera tree.
Regarding the original topic, I would like to download pics, control the camera, check battery levels, without trampling the grass and making a path to my "camera tree".
