I will try to get some pictures next week. In the mean time you can do a search for steca 2020 controller.
I had trouble with the controller this week. It should cut out at 39% so you don't deep discharge the batteries and it does not. Also the display locks up at different percent and I have to keep resetting it. I am checking into it this week to decide my options.

I did not get any photos of the controller. I had it off the wall before I thought about taking any. It seems that I am drawing to much for the controller. It is a 20 amp. I am sometimes drawing more than that and it is cutting out. I have borrowed a larger controller from a friend and will keep track of my power usage for a few month so I can decide what size I will need. I would guess a 40 amp controller will be what I need.

Been quite a while since I posted. As always life is very busy and summer went quick. We have been enjoying the cabin. It still is not finished inside. We did put the flooring down. We used Larch, tounge and groove. It went down nice. We will stain and finish it in the spring.
We finished staining the cabin and shed.

The propane fridge we installed on the porch works great. We have also installed a propane stove for heat. We picked up the direct vent stove on craigslist. We tied them together and had a propane tank installed. It is not the cheapest way to go, but I did not want to deal with wood.

The solar has been great. I did replace the 20amp charge controller with a 40 amp. I was drawing to much with the 20 amp. I also installed a battery charger into the system so I can charge the batteries with the generator if needed. It is a IOTA 90 amp charger.

We installed rain barrels this summer. I put up half round galvanized gutters and down spouts. The gutters are held on with clips and are easy to remove for the winter. We have since painted the barrels brown to match the cabin.

looks great! I really like your wood floor and the propane heater I had no idea they made those to look like wood stoves-cozy! You've done a lot of work over the summer. Do you use your cabin all winter as well?

We use the cabin year round. It was one reason for the propane stove. I'm to lazy to get up in the middle of the night to stoke a wood stove. Turn the propane on kick back and have a drink works for me

We just had a 16x20 hemlock built by Christmas. Do you have any finished interior pictures? Just trying to get some ideas. Also what are you heating with?

Stained the floors and applied 2 coats of urethane. Built my kitchen cabnets last month. I still need to frame out the uppers. I ran out of wood. I also stained the lower cabnets. I made and stained the doors and installed them I still have to make the drawers. I used Larch (Tamarack) on the floor and for the cabnet framing.

I hope to get the tile up behind the stove this weekend.

Getting some work done on the cabin interior. We got the sheetrock up, taped and painted.

We are going to use galvanized roofing for the ceiling.

We hope to have all the molding up in a few month.

These are before, during and after photos. They are not the best pictures. I only had my cell.

We built the fence around the fire pit last fall. We stained it this weekend. We use the lean to as a cook shed. I like cooking with the dutch ovens and the wind killed my heat. It works very well. We are slowly putting stone down at the pit. I also plan to make some adirondack chairs for the fire pit.

We also finished the outdoor shower. I will be using a rain catch system for water. I will be picking up an Eco temp hot water heater. I hope to have it set up by the end of the month.

Got the ceiling installed for the most part. I was short a few pieces so I still have to finish the bathroom. It turned out well. We love the look. Next is the trim

Just wanted to add some picture of the Eccotemp water heater in the outdoor shower. They were sold out of the L5 so I got the L7 for the same price. We have been using it for a month now. It is a little touchy on the controls but works ok.

Does anyone have floor plans for a 16 x 24 cabin, preferably with washer and dryer. Thanx!

There are plenty of apps that you can do this your self. I think you will find that if you want to put a kitchen next to a bedroom 16ft is a bit to skinny.
