After wanting a small cabin for years we final built one this fall. All done and ready of muzzle loader season next week. Spent a couple nights already - boy is that little stove a 'heater'.

That's awesome. Good job I decided to turn my tool shed into a cabin for this next summer and winter. It's the same size as yours and I was wondering if anyone made one this size. Good luck hunting.

very well done, it's not one of this 'let's slap it together', you put some thought and work into finishing.

Yes we spent a lot of time on it. Finished in pine. Finished the top chord of the trusses for the ceiling rather than the underside. Took more time but left use with the feeling it was bigger. I will have to look up what the stove is. It's a great little heater. Only problem is it takes short wood but does it ever through the heat. Got it at Lowes in the spring when they we clearing them out. Wired for 12v and 110. Those 12v LEDs are awesome.

Very nice..where did you get the print behind the stove?..I seen that stove at lowes to..it was like 400 something dollars up here..but it was made for quite a large area so that's why I never got one..

Picked up the metal print here (Ompah Ont) at a small local craft shop for $28. Wanted to do tile with a moose or some outdoor scene but they were really expensive.

I got the stove at Lowes in the spring for 50 or 60% off. It works great - right now just working on regulating it because it gets too hot. We rent cabins and use Pacific Energy wood stoves in the rentals. Very happy with them for larger areas but they are pricey and not sure they have a small model. This little one from Lowes burns well and the glass stays clean.

Found the details on the stove. It's an Amesti:

Rondo 450 model. It's a great heater but a little big for our 8x12 space. We find it burns efficiently with only a fine powder to clean out as ash. Planning on building on to the Bunkie next summer with another 8 or 10 x12 section and then it may be just right. Have the rafters already.

What a well thougt out plan for a small space. It looks just as cozy as the larger one. Love your attention to detail. Any pictures of the outside?
