I guess this comes under the "careful what you wish for" category. We had no snow for so long and everyone here was worrying about whether we'd have enough water in the summer. Then the snow came. Lots and lots of snow.

I have a short winter video of my (soon to be) cabin. Don't really want to post until after I've gone to settlement (in 2 weeks!!!). Anticipation!!!!

Last picture of the cabin this winter, the end of December. Guys up there are telling me snow is going off little by little. They get 4-5" one day then 50°F for 3 days.... repeat. We hope to return the end of March and be able to drive in... we'll see!

Was up at my place (a bit south of Sudbury, ON) for 8 days earlier this month. Not a lot of snow when I arrived, but got over a foot in 2 days while I was there.

Took in my new project that I restored this winter (1988 Yamaha Enticer). Just for a camp snowmobile to save some of the 3k toboggan trek I normally walk. Didn't want anything that I need to worry about being stolen.

and JetSled...

I swear my jet sled is the best and most used tool I have at the cottage.

A few more months and you'll be able to see it. Actually this is my neighbors, I've never seen my place in the winter.

I came back to my cabin after a few days away and found the gutters sheered off on one side by a massive iceberg that slid off the roof. Also, my road was a solid block of ice and so my car spun out as I tried to ascend; it's now stuck on another iceberg. Fun times.
There has been constant thawing and then sudden flash-freezing here, which I am not used to.

Early Jan pic, much more snow on the ground now but at least it's starting to melt.
It's a 2 km (1.25 mile) snowshoe climb to get up here. Winter time means using a sleight with a harness to bring in all necessities, quite a workout... I'll eventually get tracks for the ATV but no budget for that yet

Plenty of snow this year, but the pond is starting to thaw.

About as wintery as it got around here, minimal rainfall.
