You got that right, I live on a mud road. Sometimes it's gravel, now it's white ice. I did notice that the sunlight is quite intense and snow will melt off the car, even if air temperature is only 14.

I can't believe it, we're getting below zero lows all week and into next. We will see -20 actual on Thurs. morn and a high of -2, another record.

Well the winter finally broke here in Northern , MN. It was 46 yesterday. The snow went from four feet deep in the woods to three and a half. It was sure nice.
I found this. I'll bet someone here could find a use for it.

Coming home from the cabin today....spring is close....but I still have a few weeks.

We took a detour home and opened up the old dog-team trail. Piles of wet sticky snow. I had to leave my toboggan behind to open the trail and then go back for it once we opened the 9km untouched section....it took about 3 hours and I got home on fumes and soaking wet. A hell of a workout.

I'm closing on buying a cabin tomorrow... I just hope settlement is not canceled due to the snow. Both me and the sellers have 4x4's , but not sure about the attorneys.

If I were a betting man, I bet they will delay it.

rayyy>> I hope it come soon for you. Riding horse is one of the most relaxing time in life. It looks like they will be eating green grass soon.

RichInTheUSA>>>I hope the deal goes through and can enjoy that cabin soon.

Here what spring gave me. A lot of water but we really did have a great winter. Cold but that is what living in the north country is all about but had very little snow.

Flooding not so good!

Pictures taken from my land. Walk in only for now.

Yes, I am ready. Had a teaser in the 50s F on Friday. Back to 20s & 30s but may hit 50 again this week. Here's to hoping.
