I bought one as a supplement to my cookstove. I like that it works but I don't love the condensation on the windows it makes

That is one reason I will never own one. Not to mention the O2 depletion and CO production risks.

We have one and plan on installing it outside, removing it for winter. I think if you are a seasonal cabin user the price cant be beat.

I'd put mine more in the category of surviving an unvented propane heater.
This past fall thru winter I used my unvented propane heater and will be taking a second look at wood mainly due to the ever increasing cost of propane, the wide variations in propane quality and smell and the general inconsistant quality of the propane we seem to have around here.
A vented propane heater would resolve odor problems but my beef is with the poor quality and overpriced fuel.

I think I would hate never waking again. This brings to mind the tragedy in PA. Three beautiful children will never have a chance in life due to the neglect of ignorant adults.

The plan for mine is to use it until the cook stove heats up...like a quick source of heat when walking into a chilly small cabin although when temperatures are consistently near or below freezing....the cabin is closed for the winter

Well safety aspects aside, there is no way around the moisture issue other than replace it with a direct vent.

Other than keeping me from freezing to death,I didn't like it.The moister that accumulated on the colder surfaces(ceiling nail heads) would form a drip of water and cause nasty stains to form. The fumes cant be to healthy breathing in all the time and the carbon monoxide levels can kill you dead so I'd stick to vented if you possibly can.

I agree with all the negative statements. Moisture buildup and price, and fumes are the reason we bought a small woodstove which we hope to have installed before fall. The excessive moisture caused a mold problem for us, still getting rid of that.
