Be forewarned! cans of pop forgotten on the shelf of your cabin last summer and a week of minus degree temperature do not mix. It was a mess, but by the blast pattern I wish I'd been there to witness it.

Hey, its easier to clean up if its still frozen.

Old pop will corrode through the aluminum cans too. Its corrosive after time (but that is a few years). My cabin get real cold in the winter. I have dish soap, shampoo etc and all those items are stored in a plastic bin, so if they were to ever freeze, split etc, be contained in the bin vs destroying cabinets. I'd just toss out the bin.

When I get there, the soap is strange looking (crystallized look from being frozen and thawed). A few shakes and its all back to its original state.

Yep, I had that going for me Toyota! That is except for the frozen coke iceberg clinging from the cathedral ceiling.

I had one go off in the fridge with such force it blew the door wide open. It made a contained mess that was still fun to clean.

You need to mix your Coke 50/50 with good whiskey.

Please don't do that with good bourbon.

Slightly off topic, but on opening our old camp one year, I noticed small bits of brightly colored nuggets all around the camp. I couldn't quite figure this out until I found a drawer with fluorescent crayons half eaten by mice.
