Here in Washington, Mount Rainier Sunrise at about 6200 feet got several inches of snow last night, looks like changes are in the wind not to mention the Alaskan Robbins have returned like a hord of drunken sailors!

I'll second that. Great pic. As I sit sweltering in a heat wave.

In Montana we had snow two weeks ago around 6000 plus feet. It is coming with frost in about two or three weeks here. The first frost is around the 17th of Sept. give or take week.

but later this week the highs will be in the 90's and the lows wont be so low...
we have had frost at least one or two days every single month in summer.

I am so jealous of the cool temp and the snow.
I just wish it would get out of triple digit heat index here.
Summer needs to go away.

wilbour I hope your pouring water over your head. i just came in from the shower. no heat. just cold water thank you very much.

man it's hot. not a bird stirring. not a cricket chirping. everybody just lying low.

i almost stepped on a frog. he hopped away. two tiny tiny hops. then looked back at me like. stomp away. you'd be doing me a favour.

well. either that or he's so stuffed with giant grasshoppers he can't move.

Was I suppose to read between the lines? We're not talking about those fine folks across the Ottawa River, right?

I struggle to clear my throat so that I might condemn such a toadily unfounded accusation. but i suspect the legless said the better.
