5) Water is not in yet

THIS HAS CHANGED!
Bought the adjoining property....... with a WELL!!
No evidense of an in ground pump, however.
Just a pipe stickin' outta the ground and a stand (for a pitcher pump I'd imagine).
Snow is all but gone, so headin' down there this weekend, with 30' of tubing, and various collars/nipples in the 3 inch area......to match up...and do a bit of slash burning.
Geez, it's been too long.
We're like kids on Christmas eve............

maybe you could take a check velve and clamp for the pipe then if the water is'nt to deep you could pump some out buy jiging it up and down , then you could get some to taste and test !! have fun !!

Yer way ahead of me, Just.
I was thinkin' I'd put my thumb over the tube and give it a yank.....if it's not still frozen...still in the teens at night down there.

Taste??!!
Not sure if my poopail lavatory could withstand a salad shooter.....

I like what i see hear ,,,,keep a lid on it ,,, people see a hole they tend to throw things down it . thats not good,, the past owner new what to do !!! the last well i drilled cost 21000$ 270ft deep. keep the lid on.

So, you're an oil rig guy, too!
Down south? Off shore?

Yeah, I was happy to see it covered.

I think I better continue this well discussion in my other thread

I have to work on other projects that actually pay me money.
My girlfriend complains that she's lonely when I'm that the cabin (ps, then come and help me!).
The bridge has a weight limit and all my rock has to be dropped about 1/2 mile away across three bridges. And I can't get a large lumber drop, I just truck it in every time I head back up.

The neighbors are interesting and much nicer than city folk.
Taking a picture when I walk away at the days close and smiling with pride.
My dog has a great time and likes playing with a local lab.
Taking a crap in the doorless outhouse is really peaceful.
