I'm going to be living in a travel trailer while I build my cabin. I bought a 100 watt solar panel so I don't need to run a generator all the time. I have 2 deep cycle 12v batteries in parallel. When I run the wires from the charge controller to the batteries do I connect the positive on one battery and the negative on the other battery?

If they are in parrallel your batteries are connect Pos to Pos and Neg to Neg so you just have to attach the Pos from the Charge controller to the Pos on the Battery and the Neg from the Charge controller to the Neg on the batter.

Sorry brother, I missed the two battery part...

Here is how I connect my parallel batteries. My drawing is crude and not complete but it will allow for visual aid.
