Quoting: Cisco
Do my eyes deceive or is your dog really a manatee? Haha Cool Pic!

Hahahaha! Cain had no clue that the manatee was there until shortly after that pic....when he tried to step up on that "log" and the log moved!

Our dog doesn't really like to swim, but will wade in the water all day. She like to mutter quietly to the lily pads.

Turbo the Airedale, & Diesel the Schnauzer. On the truck ride out to the cabin, as soon as we get to the gravel road both dogs go crazy! Are we there yet!

Here's our little one, Buster...and our daughter's shepherd something-or-other, Chico.
The cabin build is still ongoing...this would be the first day following getting the cedar on all the interior walls.

We just love our chocolate lab, Molly. The first pic was taken by our neighbour. She brings treats but that day didn't have any. Molly looks totally confused and shocked.

The second pic was taken last year near our raspberry bushes. Molly is 7 years old now.
What do you mean you don't have any treats?

Meet Matilda, Angelica and sometimes cousin Freyja. Angelica is a pit bull raise by a golden retriever. The result is I have one of the few swimming pit bulls and it tough to keep her out of water. Except now. It's frozen But she does skate

Penelope is a not quite a year and a half old Poodle German Shepherd mix. She is very confused when the big white tailed 'dogs' won't stay and play with her.

So I've been down with pneumonia, by best friend by my side. Been wondering, do dogs know when you are sick? 'Cause he still expects his morning walk, going out for rides in the car, throwing his toy.. I hope he doesn't think I am mad at him for doing something wrong.

Head of cabin security, pointing at an intruder...

He loves the cabin, but needs a sweater in the cold.

Pound dog, 100% mutt. I like to say he's half chihuahua, half black lab. There was a chair involved.

Hey so we love to snuggle up with our little dog but man, his breath could derail a train sometimes. So I looked it up, says mouth bacteria and I need to brush his teeth regularly or bad things can happen. I don't even brush my own teeth regularly.

Anyone brushing their dog's teeth?

OK, my last post here was with my frenchie and english bulldog, lost both of them, 1 yr and a day apart, Dec 30th 2017 and Dec 31st 2018.

I didnt go long without a bulldog, got a new frenchie. Meet Nugget, a male frenchie at normal weight of about 25 lbs. Cost was $2500, but I have really grown to love frenchies. I told the wife, I dont want a time where I do not have a frenchie.

Here he is at the cabin, retreating from the kids and sun under the picnic table where he had a little bed set up. He does real well at the cabin. He was so dirty and dusty, got a bath when he got home and was bright white again. That is dirt on his nose too.
Second picture is newborn, looks like a little "Gloworm", that toy you buy for kids, squeeze it and it lights up.

The pictures in the green blanket is after we picked him up from the breeder, he was playing so hard with his litter mates and when we took him, he slept for what seemed like 24 hours straight.

Just arrived at the cabin for the long weekend and I think the dog is just as happy as I am to be here.

My other 2 bulldogs (may they rest in peace) loved the ocean, so I took Nugget there today, I figured he would too. Man, he was so excited the entire time.
He really loved it up in the drier stuff towards the dunes, he would roll around in it over and over. Get sand on his face, shake it off and do it all over again.

Wore him out today, he is napping.

OK, blotted my eyes, because of facial recognition software out there and I'm kind of a privacy freak,

My daughter has a beautiful Burmese mountain dog that is now 2 years old. She was able to spend a lot of time at the cabin this summer and she has had a lot of fun. She has more freedom then at home and loves to explore. We even got her out in our little boat this summer. She loved it!
