This is intended to sit on top of a gas heater or pellet stove and blow air around without outside electricity. Could be used with woodstoves so long as temp is below 400 degrees.

Most artful use of aluminum extrusions I have seen.

Made in Canada! Nice to see something that is cheaper to buy up here (even compared to the "sale" price. LeeValley
Here are all 3 models including those designed for the hotter wood stove. We have the smaller one at home with the brass blades - I actually prefer the black blades. Works well although I wish I had gotten the larger one.

I've had one similar for a lot of years. Works quite well to circulate heat away from the woodstove. Highly recommended.

I have two of the large models, one on my cook stove and the other in my sunroom on top of my Mr. Heater instead of using the battery operated fan. Home Hardware carries the replacement motors for 14 bucks. I can stand 20' away and the fan will move a piece of toilet paper.

I use this in my shabin and it helps regulate temps in my loft in a major way

Have two of them, one I got a three blade for in hopes of moving more air but didn't do much then the motor pooped out.

Found my USB powered 5 inch fans did a lot better job and move a bunch more air, got three of them at Walfart for five bucks each, the first one has run nearly non stop for two years now with no issues.
