Hello, just last week I finally got running water in my cabin. I have a 2500 gallon rainwater tank (has about 1000 gallons in it), Shurflo 198 GPH, 115 VAC Diaphragm Industrial Pump, SHURflo 1 gallon Pre-Pressurized Accumulator Tank, running through pex pipe to my kitchen sink. When we open the tap water comes out. The problem is there does not seem to be much water pressure, and the pump cycles on and off a lot when using just a small amount of water. I plan on putting in a shower and eventually a washing machine so I just don't think this will be enough. I thought about getting a bigger accumulator tank but the bigger ones only have 1 water outlet so I don't think this is what I need. Any suggestions? I am on solar power only (48v system with 4400 watt inverter)
so I have to keep that in mind.

This is a picture I took before connecting the waterines. Pre-filter, then pump, then pressure tank.

That is a anti knock tank , to small, get a 10 gal. tank and connect it with a tee on the pressure line...

Can u tell me what kind of tee? I went to lowes and looked at a 5 gallon accumulator tank that had one threaded outlet. I could not find a tee that would fit it. I asked the people at lowes and they were clueless. Thanks

most tanks have a 3/4 in standard pipe thread coming out the bottom of the tank.attach a standard pipe thread 3/4in tee to the tank, attach the pump to one of the other treads on the tee and the pipe going to your taps to the third end ... The water from the pump will go both in and out of the tank as needed...you may need to buy some fittings to adapt to your pump and tape pipe as they will be smaller than the tank

If you plan to use rain water gathered from roof top runoff you may want to get the water tested first.
Rain water coming off composition roofs gather a lot of heavy metal from the gritty material, unpainted galvanized roofs contain high amounts of zinc and other toxic chemicals, treated cedar shakes typically are high in arsenic and copper, getting it tested will show you what you need to filter out.

You state that you do not have enough outlets from the accumulator tank. They normally only have one, most common is 3/4. what you need to do is make a manifold out of 3/4 pex pipe to accommodate all your desired locations. all feeds to your sink, shower , toilet exact will be 1/2 pex. It worked great at our cabin. Google pex pipe manifolds. Good luck.

Sounds like you might have a small air leak somewhere. Try using teflon tape on the threads used by the clear plastic filter cap. I've had to do that. Even a small leak will cause no end of annoyance.

Btw. I have two of those pumps. The one in the bathroom runs the shower and the washer. No problem. I can even run the sink and shower at once. Lots of pressure in the shower.

Air leak. I had the same problem with my little Shurflo 4800 (3 GPM). It was sucking air through a slit in the tubing.
