Good Day everyone...

This morning I was doing my usual News Check and came across something I felt should be shared here... This Solution may work for a few folks AND might inspire others creative juices... There is both a Grid Connected & an Off Grid version.

Pricing = Mystery - suppose they want a call, an appointment - ugh factor... wish they'd list pricing...

I was having trouble understanding why they went to the trouble of folding it up. But then read that it dusts itself off. Would also be handy during snowstorms. Interesting.

Well that does have some positive aspects to it no doubt and I read the FAQ and other info, it has interesting features even for when it is storming out. The + Model with batteries for off-grid ability twigged me somewhat...

Unfortunately the info on the site is not terribly details or informative (techie wise) and the omission of pricing and having to call a rep... Well that triggers many unpleasant memories of Poly Clad, Shlock Salesmen but of course NB Power would partner with them...

I won't call, certainly not from my own phone - maybe a pay phone ! But an interesting idea & concept and if the price is "Respectable" and it performs as described might be a good solution for some.

Side Note: Being that it originates from Austria, I would take the statements as slightly more credible BUT given recent disclosures & discoveries about certain businesses & industries there & in Germany... I rather see the proof myself before trusting anything on "paper".

Neat. I could use one on a telescoping pole to get it above the tree canopy, then open up.

I read a article on these awhile back about the cost, $16,900 US dollars $22,000 with batteries. This article was written in April of 2017 so it is current pricing. It does have a good design to it but not cost effective yet. Maybe after more production they will be able to get the cost down a little bit.
