Below are nine dots arranged in a set of three rows. Your challenge is to draw four straight lines which go through the middle of all of the dots without taking the pencil off the paper. If you were using a pencil, you must start from any position and draw the lines one after the other without taking your pencil off the page. Each line starts where the last line finishes.

Look in the mirror, then at the wall and back at the mirror to see what you saw. Use the saw to cut the table in half and join the two halves to make a whole. Put the “hole†on the wall and climb out.
Kinda lame.

There is a lightbulb inside a closet. The door is closed, and you cannot see if the light is on or off through the door. However, you know the light is off to start. Outside of the closet, there are three light switches. One of the switches controls the lightbulb in the closet. You can flip the switches however you want, but once you open the door, you can no longer touch the switches.
How do you figure out without a doubt which switch controls the light?

OK. The light is off to begin with. Are we to assume that means all three light switches are off to begin with as well? If I assume that, then first turn on switch 1 and wait a minute or two. Turn off switch 1 and right away turn on switch 2 and open the door.
If the light is on then switch 2 operates the light. If the light is off then carefully feel the bulb. If the bulb is hot or warm then switch 1 controls the light. If the bulb is cold then switch 3 operates the light.

This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out. Try to do so without any coaching!

Pick up the second full glass, pour it into the second empty glass and then put the glass you emptied back where it was.
