Small Cabin Forum / Off-Grid Living / Solar LED motion/security light

bobrok Member	# Posted: 9 Apr 2018 20:53 Reply  Some time ago (can't find it) there was a thread about these with some brand recommendations as well. It's been a while and now that I'm looking to replace my old halogen bulb units I'd like to ask if anyone has a new state of the art unit and/or could recommend what I should consider. Ideally I'd replace my two old units with one high lumen output unit that offers a wide or adjustable field of motion range. Thanks for any input!
Bushwhacked Member	# Posted: 10 Apr 2018 23:36 Reply  I dont think this would be state of the art, but I put in 4 of these between my moms house and my house. That was 5 ish years ago for all of them. They work. They do need a few hrs of sun to work, so in the winters here in the Pacific North West they dont always turn on, but I'm happy with them for how well they work with little light on "bright cloudy days".
