I see they are releasing their last edition, #188, this November / December. Sad to see it come to an end. I had my subscription paid up half way through 2024.

How ironic is it that as current Govt policies slash funding and support for renewable energy systems and slap tariffs on solar equipment a 31 year old magazine dedicated to clean energy is shutting down.

No doubt. But, as someone pointed out to me on another forum, the owners were probably retiring.
The owners, or their staff, had already started another publication: SolarPro Magazine

Maybe not ironic....as ILFE said they may not even be related. Note that home solar is up 20% since the tariffs went into place and many overseas companies are opening up shops here in the US. Plus the continuing drop in all solar prices is making up for the tariff increase.
Funny enough the 2 companies that started the tariff fuss were not even US companies and neither is still operating, one being bought out and the other going under.
But we got to punish China (mainly) for it's longtime, ongoing abuse of fair trade. we'll see where we are in 4 years when the tariffs bottom out, but this may turn out to be a win for US workers, factories and the solar industry as a whole.....
