I got a free Dometic RM461 from a friend of mine, it is a 3 way fridge, 3.9 cubic feet. It was tested for 2 weeks on propane and electric and it works like new. I want to put it in my cabin which is 320 square feet now with 10 foot ceiling. I really don't want to cut holes in the walls. I want to put it under my window few inches off the wall and it would sit 4-5 inches off the ground. Now the chimney needs to be vented and the chimney is just a straight pipe, about 3/4 inch that goes straight up from the burner and stops a few inches from the top of the fridge. The question is: can I extend this chimney with let say 1 inch copper pipe or other and put 90° angle and through the window. I would put a plate in the window with a small hole that the pipe would go thru

Few pictures of the fridge

Are you sure that is a vented model...I say this because I can't see a fresh air intake pipe...I have both a vented and none vented fridge, getting rid of the none vented for insurance purposes. Also for insurance and safety reason for my installation your vented pipe has to be a certain distance from any opening/windows, doors. I solved that problem by putting in a solid glass window.

you will be fine venting it, I've run a 6' vent off of mine with no issues, just don't constrict the airflow, and make sure there is a rise to your vent pipe to keep air moving due to heat rising.

That being said, I'm sure its not to code if that is an issue for you, and make sure you have a CO detector.

This fridge needs to be vented. It was taken out of RV and had the wall vent. Im not worried about the fresh air since my cabin is drafty but the fumes from the chimney. The chimney is exactly 3/4 inch, same size as copper piping so I was thinking of extending it ans cracking open the window and putting a plate in the window with a hole for the vent pipe. That window would not be used when the fridge is runing. I tested the fridge is my garage for a couple of days and I could smell it. That's why I'm asking if this would work. I dont want to cut holes in walls as the location of the fridge might change. I do have a smoke and CO detector

You do realize that all the heat removed from the inside of the fridge is given off by that black coil and fin unit near the top? Lots of heat gets added to the room. That is one reason RV's vent to the outside.
